First, this was not first experience with Mr Rooter. I didn’t hesitate to call based on previous positive experience. I called because our water pipes have been hammering a little since we bought a new washing machine about six months ago. House is 1950ish with long runs of copper plumbing. The valves in modern washers open and close more often and more quickly than in old top loading agitator models, which can result in water hammer. I had researched this and had taken some steps. including installing hammer arrestors on the washer supply pipes, and tightening down and muffled pipes where I could access them and confirm there was some wobble. This worked, but not 100%, so I was looking for a professional plumber to advise me on other solutions, including possibly a pressure reducing valve. I was glad that MR dispatched Bruce to help me. He was extremely knowledgeable. He reassured me that I was on the right track and helped me to isolate, secure and muffle the pipes in a few other spots in the basement ceiling cavities. He provided me with a few options and made certain that I understood the risks, costs and benefits of each. I feel like I was put in a position to make an informed decision about how to proceed. I will press on with the approach. And I won’t hesitate to call Mr Rooter if I need further assistance. Highly recommend.

Came home from a stay away to a shut down furnace and cold house. Turned my water back on resulting in a burst pipe. Joshua from Mr. Rooter came promptly, was incredibly efficient, professional and fixed the pipe. When we tested it the repair held but unfortunately another pipe burst. He fixed that very promptly as well and late into the night. Once my furnace got replaced, another technician Lucas came by my place to ensure there was no issues when turning the water back on. I did not even get charged for the to come by my place again. I would always recommend and would forever use them based on this experience. Incredible work!

Emergency call for frozen water pipes. Service scheduled same day, Tech arrived as promised at correct time. Turned out we were able to thaw pipes on our own, but tech was very helpful with advice on how to avoid problem again. Excellent service. Prompt, courteous and very professional. Would highly recommend and will use again if need be.
