  • When your Mr. Rooter plumbing technician inspects your system, he or she will recommend one of a few different septic system repairs to suit your needs. The Terralift method works to repair septic systems by aerating the leach field of your septic tank. The Terralift machine will probe the soil in your leach field, and force air through the field at a controlled PSI rate. These new air veins will improve air circulation underground, and release build ups of pollutants that can damage your septic tank. Terralift is a fantastic service that will easily extend the life of your septic system, remove unwanted septic odors, and save you the costly fee of a new septic system installation.

  • HydroScrub is another septic system repair that may be recommended, if the issues with your system are the result of pipe clogs and backups. HydroScrub utilizes a high pressure water system to break through clogs and debris, and leaves your pipes spotless. Once a full treatment is completed, there will be an immediate difference in your water system’s performance.

Septic System Installations and Inspections

Before any repairs take place, a septic system inspection will be required. Until your Mr. Rooter Plumbing technician is aware of the direct cause of the problem, no permanent solutions will be recommended. If your tank has made it to the end of its life, a new septic system installation will be the only lasting repair. Systems regularly need to be replaced every 20 to 25 years, depending on water usage and household members.
